OUR FOUNDER

Stronghold was founded by Matt Austin, a 20-year US Army Combat Veteran turned Supply Chain Professional. With over 15 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, plastics manufacturing operations, and supply chain management, Matt has developed a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in delivering efficient and reliable logistics solutions. Prior to founding Stronghold Shipping, Matt served as the Operations Supply Chain Director of a prominent $100+ million plastics company, where he successfully implemented strategic initiatives that optimized supply chain processes and drove significant cost savings.

TRUCK LOAD

Our truckload service provides you with the means to get your freight moving quickly. If you have enough freight to fill half of a 48’ or 53’ trailer or more, or if you’d prefer it to be the only product on the truck, this service is for you.

LTL

Get your freight moving cost-effectively by leveraging our LTL shipping volume and our extensive motor carrier network. We can provide you with lower LTL shipping rates for smaller freight consisting of 1 – 10 pallets of either dry or temperature-controlled products.

INTERMODAL

Our dedicated intermodal rail service experts can help you add value to your overall supply chain by offering this cost- and environmentally-friendly shipping option.

FINAL MILE
